What this is
People taped TV. Decades later those tapes sit in basements and closets, and with them go the commercials, station IDs, local newscasts and live moments that never made it onto any official release.
The Neon Pulse Archive rescues donated VHS recordings, digitizes them, works out exactly what aired and when, and catalogues every break — starting with commercials, then local Chicago TV, news, sports and music television.
